Bringing visibility to welcoming spaces
Our goal is simple – Help LGBGQ+ individuals and their loved ones feel more safe and welcome. Through this project area businesses and organizations who agree to provide a welcoming space will be given project stickers to place at their entrance. The address of the location is then added to our Welcome Here map and participant list (to include those without a storefront). Seeing the stickers offers assurance when you walk through the door. Seeing the map provides an understanding of scope of welcoming spaces in the community.
